Our South Coast Sampler is all about experiencing the country's ever-changing landscapes, ancient and modern Nordic culture, distinctive foods and authentic wool crafts. It's well suited to those who have traveled to Iceland previously as well as to first-time visitors. We'll get to know the Vestmann Islands, spend time on south coast black sand beaches and visit a lagoon filled with glaciers PLUS learn time-honored techniques in Icelandic knitting. The Northern Lights might come out to do their dance in the night sky! Weather permitting, we'll also take part in the annual roundup of Iceland's sheep herds.
