A wonderful trip with wonderful people! I had so many unique experiences that I would have never have discovered on my own, and met some real kindred spirits both on the tour and amongst the people we met in New Zealand. Well worth the cost.

An Ionian Knitting Odyssey was the trip of a lifetime. What a delightful way to explore so much of Greece! Heather is an incredibly organized and passionate Fiber Ambassador who skillfully shepherded us through a whirlwind of unique experiences: learning from a Kefalonian lace expert, exploring Mycenaean palace ruins, meeting the dyer for the trip's knit-a-long yarn, and more.

As a seasoned traveler, I can, without hesitation, say that the Ireland Through the Maker’s Lens is my all time favorite trip. The excursions, workshops, accommodations, food, and professionalism of the Rowan Tree team cannot be surpassed.

My second trip with Rowan Tree and am already planning on traveling with them next year! Fabulous staff who are uber-accommodating and knowledgeable, local visits I would never find on my own, first-rate food and lodging, and a lovely and congenial group of fiber enthusiasts with whom to travel.

For anyone wanting inspiration, to meet new people and be in a beautiful environment this trip fits it all.
