Colleen and Mary were delightful, kind and very informative to work with. It was so lovely to be surrounded by fellow knitters who share the common interest of knitting and fiber. I felt as though I had died and gone to heaven. Thank you for the wonderful time and I certainly hope to travel again with you some day- soon!

Trip #5 with Rowan Tree and it never disappoints!

The Norway trip was a fantastic dive into Norwegian culture, history and landscape. The variety of experiences were phenomenal, train rides, ferry rides, living museums, yarn factories, and workshops were complemented by the outstanding cuisine options and charming accommodations.

I really appreciated spending time with the local guides. They were enthusiastic, knowledgeable and candid about their homes and subject matter. It made the trip feel like an authentic visit to each place we spent time.

I'd never been on a group tour before, but the quality and experiences on this particular tour surpassed my expectations, and I would definitely do another tour with Rowan Tree. I learned so much! Excellent balance of workshops, informational talks and visits to local traditional artisans. I loved the variety of accommodations, the pace of things (we were busy! but also lots of knitting time). Our fiber ambassadors complemented each other's strengths and were both fantastic at their jobs and with the information they provided.

The trip to Norway was just perfect! It combined all of my favorite things; knitting, history, beautiful landscapes, learning new fiber techniques, meeting a group of intrepid knitters and of course, having incredible tour Fiber Ambassadors who handled our itinerary and any glitches with ease! I cannot wait to go on another adventure with Rowan Tree!!

This was my second trip with Rowan Tree and I have another one booked. Found a safe way to travel with other enthusiastic knitters.

Anna was an AMAZING fiber ambassador. She knew exactly when we needed a fiber fix and managed to wrangle a small farm visit in to our busy schedules. There was always plenty of time for the fiber events. I never felt rushed.

Rowan Tree's Wool & Whisky tour lives up to its name! From furry animals to the yarn they produce, wool is the main attraction. Farmers & artisans lovingly shared their wooly expertise. And the whisky - food pairings were phenomenal.
