I’ve taken several trips with Rowan tree. The planning, execution of same has gotten better with each trip. Smoother and more refined. in each excursion the focus remains on kindness and genuine connections between travelers and hosts. I’ve always gone away knowing there are so many good folk around the world.

This was my first time in India and it was a great experience. I would love to go back to see and experience more if the southern part of the country. This has been my 2nd tour with Rowan Tree and it has been amazing.

A wonderful tour expertly guided by our Fiber Ambassadors Suzie and Helen. At several points during the tour they gave us suggestions and the opportunity to modify the tour by adding/ subtracting activities if we needed downtime or wanted to see something special. They were both extremely knowledgeable and very patient with our group in terms of special needs and accommodations. Attention to details of the trip were exceptional, communication was constant, and questions were always welcome.

I've had the absolute pleasure of traveling with Rowan Tree to both Ireland and Scotland, and I can confidently say their tours are top notch! Each trip was a beautifully woven tapestry of fiber arts, history, and heartfelt connection. In Scotland, I was introduced to incredible small-scale artisans whose work and stories left a lasting impression. From hand-dyed yarns, Celtic cables, to traditional weaving techniques, every stop felt like a treasure.

Best vacation with girlfriends ever!

Knitting in Northern Italy was fantastic! Sydney & Hailey knew everyone & seemingly everything. It was a wonderful mix of fiber and Italian culture. I'm looking forward to another European trip with Rowan Tree.

The fun thing about this trip was we were all friends from around the US and Canada. We had one person to work with Rowan Tree and our Guide, Suzie. They worked very hard to provide us with all we asked for. The tour was a variety of all the things we were interested in. History, castles, food, crafts, and time to spend together with our yarn (our main focus).

We had a wonderful taste of Scotland in 10 short days. The hotels and manor homes were warm and comfortable. We were exposed to several different regions, each with their own unique offerings, from high tea at the Balmoral hotel, to a cuddle with Cashmere goats along the coast of the North Sea. We experienced fiber and textiles in all stages of creation. The food was delicious and varied. We learned a bit about the history and the current state of the government and how the royals live. A fabulous trip all around!
