I cannot say enough nice things about Rowan Tree Travel and my trip to Oaxaca, Mexico. The accommodations were lovely, the food delicious, the sights and learning fantastic, and our guides exceptional.

A truly wonderful exploration of Sardinian culture, history and fiber arts!. The mix of educational and hands-on activities is terrific with the bonus of mixing with local artisans, chefs, farmers/vintners and our special fiber designer. Highly recommended if you enjoy being off the tourist track in a beautiful country with ancient traditions.

When asked by family what my favorite activity was, I couldn't choose just one... Meeting the animals, local yarn shops, the farmers market with making and eating pesto and pasta, riding the country roads, the festival... Of course the fabulous food... So much care was put into the plan for each day and it showed. THANK YOU 😘

I highly recommend the Textiles and Treasures of India trip with RTT. It is a wonderful adventure visitng beautiful, ancient cultural sites and learning about and participating in creating the beautiful arts and crafts India is famous for. If you go, give the elepants a hug for me and Meera, the lovely, sweet dog in Jaipur.

The Amsterdam Woolly Wanderers took me to a part of the world I had never been, where I got to pet sheep, squish yarn and enjoy some world class museums. I particularly enjoyed the workshops and Texel island. Our fiber ambassadors were warm, welcoming and kept things on track. I look forward to taking another Rowan Tree Travel tour.

Changes the way you see the world around you.

This was a great trip! The only change I’d make is to hand out a second ribbon or a sticker at the beginning of the trip for people to wear. This would make it easy to identify our trip mates as we get to know them.

I have been so happy with the three trips I have taken with Rowan Tree that I am not looking anywhere else for future trips. I actually have 2 more booked with Rowan Tree!
