This was a wonderful trip! It was my first tour experience and definitely not my last. Everything was very well organized, the accommodations were amazing and the tour delivered everything it promised. We fully experienced the culture, the beauty and the world of British Wool Breeds in England . The tour leaders were amazing in every way. Many thanks to Rowan Tree Travel for this great experience!

Had a fabulous time! Loved going off the beaten path to see the richness of the people and the countryside of Scotland! And of course, no trip would be complete without the yarn and this trip did not disappoint! So amazing to hear the designer's/dyer's stories and see their yarn and samples up close. And if you go on this trip, do not miss out on the sticky toffee pudding or the coffee walnut cake!

This was my first time doing a group tour. Adjusting to that has its own challenges for this introvert, but I wouldn't change it! The itinerary was perfect, the ability to adjust to circumstances was excellent, and I'm not sure what magic Heather does to get the weather in Wales to cooperate so much! The week after the trip I found myself missing the company and the scenery constantly. This is definitely a trip that leaves me wanting to come back for more.

It was amazing! The food was delicious. The accommodations were gorgeous. The places we went were perfect. I made friends for life. I can't wait to take another tour with Rowan Tree and the Sisterhood!

A delightful trip with a wonderful group of people. The lodging and food were terrific, and the places we visited were varied and interesting. The trip to Wordsworth's Dove Cottage and the museum was my favorite. I wished for a bit more down time and fewer/shorter walks. I felt over-scheduled and we didn't have enough time, in my opinion, to work with Joyce and Susan who were wonderful additions to the tour. The bathroom I shared in the Barn was clean with lots of hot water and a heated floor!! But I was dismayed that the shower didn't have any anti-slip treads or a bar to grab onto - most of the tour participants were older and I could see someone on a future trip easily slipping in this tub and breaking a bone. Kudos to the staff at the inn and to Heather, Susie and Colleen - each of whom made this a great experience all around.

Super friendly folks, great food, beautiful scenery and accommodations, such a wonderful combination of activity, education and creativity. Would have appreciated a little more balance between the activities and the time for creating and for more organized transitions. Thanks so much for this awesome experience!!!

This tour is a must for any vintage knitting enthusiast. It exceeded my expectations by 100%. Unique tours, talks and experiences made it like none other. From highly specialised lecturers and hosts, places to stay (including a castle), delicious food and tailored experiences along the way, it was amazing.

It was a great trip! We saw beautiful sights, experienced interesting workshops and tours and met so many wonderful people! Every day was filled with fun experiences and adventure. It was a good overview of Scotland, especially from a fiber viewpoint!

My trip to Wales with Sisterhood Fibres was amazing. The new friends I made, the introduction to local foods/ales and the history of this area was enriching. My experience at the Woolen Wales Fibre Festival surpassed my expectations by a country mile. I was blown away. I highly recommend this trip to anyone who loves wool, history and friendly people. Woolen Wales has it all.

This trip was great, well organized, great places to experience, lovely accommodation with fabulous food. Everyone was pleased.

What a wonderful group of women and what a wonderful tour!!

This was a fun trip. The leaders were flexible to the group's needs. The food was very good. I recommend providing name tags for participants to wear throughout the time together. I was not physically prepared for the amount of walking. Perhaps mention this In description of event. Also a list of clothes to take would be helpful. I did not have enough warm clothes. Heather graciously lent me a hat to wear.
