I looked so forward to traveling with Rowan Tree for a second trip. The first one to the Cotswolds was outstanding and my second trip to The Lake District was equally wonderful. Heather Suzie and Colleen were so kind helpful and knowledgeable about the area and I look forward to Scotland in September !

This, my first Rowantree Travel tour, was an 8 day treat and wool retreat. I was delighted and engaged with the Woolen Wales itinerary that balanced hands-on activities with touring and exploration...not to mention...outstanding local food and charming accommodations in the Welsh countryside. Thanks to Heather and her team for being so gracious, informed, flexible and fun.

I thought the Woolen Wales tour was very well run. Colleen and Heather made themselves personally known to me and were very friendly and accommodating. I was happy with my Rowan Tree Tour experience and would recommend it.

The trip was a wonderful taste of Scotland! Each day was filled with adventure and experiences. I so enjoyed meeting the many warm and friendly Scots along the way!

The perfect tour...knitting, culture, real people, yarn shops, makers, delicious food, beautiful scenery, tea and scones and whisky, and lovely places to see and stay. Perfect for me. Looking forward to traveling with Rowan Tree Travel again!

Rowan Tree has come through again with a wonderful tour. Cornwell and the Cotswolds are amazing and we got to see so much of both areas. Food and accomidations were wonderful as usual.

I have travelled on other bus tours and Rowan Tree Travel rates as #1!! I appreciate all the attention to details that they put into making your tour a wonderful experience. It's also fun having your tour director share your interests..a first for me. Heather, Collen and John were a great team who were quick to respond and adjust to every challenge..like weather, that came along. I can't wait to see where I might go next.

Woolen Wales is lovely, showcasing the beautiful countryside, dotted with sheep, throughout the tour. The quaint towns with the friendly Welsh were breathtaking. Accommodations and meals were great, giving a chance to taste a hearty cuisine. Lots of opportunity to shop at Wonderwool and at the various mills and towns. Our wonderful driver, John never gave us a moment of worry navigating those narrow, twisting roads between the hedgerows. Definitely worth a visit!

Rowan Tree delivered, actually over-delivered, on their promises of camaraderie, a below-the-touristy-surface experience, getting to know and support local artisans and a leader that created and led an outrageously special experience. This was all that and more. It was all I wanted and lots that I didn't even know I wanted until I experienced it. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Scotland was my second trip with Rowan Tree Travel and I hope to continue doing one a year. The variety of activities and getting to know the people of the country was great. I like how the trips are planned and stay on schedule to show you so much of the country. The interesting professionals demonstrating their skills and allow you hands on learning is wonderful. From booking your flights to running the tour Rowan does the best job!
