My trip to Oaxaca exceeded my expectations. It’s such a colorful city, packed with beautiful murals, delicious food, and warm gracious people. Rowan Tree not only knows the city well, but they also introduced us to many amazing artists. I want to go back!

The Oaxacan Tour was an exceptional trip into the culture and lives (past and present) of the Zapotec artisans. I would do the same tour again, it was that wonderful. Lovely local people, amazing art and crafts, great access to locally produced goods at fair prices, and special foods, made just for us. And, the markets are astonishing! The week flew by way too fast.

I was so excited to go on this trip to Estonia and it exceeded my expectations! The other travelers and Fiber Ambassadors were wonderful, and I loved learning about traditional crafts from the remarkable women who are working to restore these after Soviet repression.

This was my first trip with Rowan Tree Travel and if far exceeded my expectations. Quite frankly, I think I just experienced the perfect tour. Everything went so well, and I was very impressed with our Fiber Ambassadors.

Barcelona Knits greatly exceeded my expectations! The many cultural tours were excellent with excellent information provided by tour guides. Great camaraderie was achieved by the participants.

The Oaxaca Textile Tour is incredible! We had access to artisans and their studios that the average tourist does not get. Learning about the people, their history and culture thru visits to museums, markets, villages and studios gave me a new perspective and respect for the Oaxacans. It was an amazing experience!

What struck me the most were the relationships that were formed with our inlay workshop teachers. They were so warm and welcoming and helpful and also so very proud of the work they do to preserve Estonian crafts and techniques. I hope to see them again.

I had such an amazing time traveling with Sydney and Suzie in Estonia! We met so many people passionate about their country and their craft. The food, hotels, and workshops were incredible. I will absolutely be on more tours with Rowan Tree Travel!

Another well run, small group fiber tour. Loved it!

This is my third trip with RTT and it was fabulous, as were the others! The group size is just right, big enough to provide variety and small enough to get to know my fellow travelers. Our shared love of yarn is a great initial connection point, but it is very easy to move on from there, as we talk about issues of culture, crafts, and history. I'm looking forward to the next 2 tours I've already scheduled. You can't go wrong with Rowan Tree Travel!
