I had the best time in New Zealand! This tour was organized for the us travelers to see the most of New Zealand in 13 days. We had plenty of downtime to relax and there were strategic to break-up long travel days.

This is my third trip with RTT and it was fabulous, as were the others! The group size is just right, big enough to provide variety and small enough to get to know my fellow travelers. Our shared love of yarn is a great initial connection point, but it is very easy to move on from there, as we talk about issues of culture, crafts, and history. I'm looking forward to the next 2 tours I've already scheduled. You can't go wrong with Rowan Tree Travel!

This was my first time traveling with a tour group. I highly recommend Rowan Tree Travel for fiber enthusiasts and even non enthusiasts. My husband, who is a non knitter, thoroughly enjoyed the trip. Rowan Tree provides great value for the money. I will be traveling with them again.

The Cotswold's walking tour was wonderful. It is beautiful countryside and steeped in the history of wool.

What a wonderful introduction to Iceland’s history, geology, and knitting culture! I appreciated traveling around the country, and especially having Icelandic sagas and folktales read to us on the bus. As usual for RTT, meals and hotels were stellar, and there was a good mix of wool-related stops and scenic or historical sites. Our guides were knowledgeable and fun, and I appreciated their flexible approach to each day’s plans. I can’t wait for my next trip with Rowan Tree Travel! I’m a customer for life!

This tour was the perfect balance of sites, interesting local women entrepreneurs to meet, an great group on the tour (interesting, engaged, curious, friendly), and our guides did a great job. I was impressed with Rowan Travel!

This tour exceeded my expectations in every way. The accommodations were unique and special, and the food was outstanding. More importantly to me, I was exposed to people, places, and experiences that I never would have found on my own. We were allowed a nice mix of time to explore on our own with more formatted tours and talks/classes. My daughter, who was not a knitter before the trip, never felt left out and was able to feel part of the group. When she decided to try some knitting, she had many willing teachers at the evening knit alongs!

Our Tour Ambassdor Lyndsay was exceptional. Her ability to stear us here and there and be available 24/7 for whatever may have been needed. Her ability to get to know each and everyone of us was exceptional. Her knowledge of her Scotland and her stories were grand. I loved how on occassion she could change things up and still run a well oiled machine.

Woolen Wales was delightful. The leaders were knowledgeable and approachable and the tour offered a good balance of interesting places to visit, time to chat with other participants and time to knit on our own. I'd heartily recommend this tour!
